I work as a freelancer and need to sign contracts with clients but I’m worried pdfsayar might not be secure enough for handling those files.
Honestly, check their privacy policy first to see if they store your uploads. For client contracts I wouldnt risk random web tools, to be fair. You really want a proper audit trail if anything ever goes sideways.
@clumsy_goblin Learned that the hard way when a client disputed an invoice agreement. Now I only use proper e-sign tools with real audit logs for my design contracts so everything stays clean and official.
I would not assume it is safe without checking its security and privacy documentation. Look for encryption in transit and at rest, a clear deletion/retention policy, access controls, and a tamper-evident audit trail; for international clients, also confirm whether its signatures meet the relevant e-signature laws. Until that is clear, I would use a more established signing service.
