I’m trying to duplicate a page in a PDF on my phone so it appears twice in the same document. Is that possible without changing the order of the other pages?
Honestly, the easiest way is using an app like PDF Expert or Acrobat. In the page grid view, you can just select the page, hit copy, and paste it right next to the orginal so the rest of your order stays put.
I do this a lot with school forms on my tablet so I opened the PDF in Xodo, went to the page thumbnails, long pressed the one I wanted and chose duplicate so it sat right after without messing up the rest. fwiw I learned that the hard way after pages got scrambled once. What phone are you on?
I had to do this recently with a payroll sheet on my iPhone.
- Open the PDF in the Files app.
- Tap the thumbnail icon at the top left to view all pages.
- Tap the three dots on the page you need and pick Duplicate.
Yes. Use a PDF editor with an “Organize pages” or “Duplicate page” option, then move the copied page next to the original if needed. On a phone, Adobe Acrobat or a similar PDF app should handle this, though the exact buttons differ between iPhone and Android.
@samantha_87 is spot on about the Files app. I do that now whenever a client needs an extra proof page on the go. Learned the hard way that third-party apps sometimes mess up font rendering on mobile.
