I need to turn a Word document into a PDF, but I’m only on my Android phone right now and don’t have a laptop with me. The application form is due tonight, so is there a simple way to do this without a computer?
Simplest way is to open it in Google Docs, hit the three dots, and choose Print. Just switch the printer to Save as PDF. Honestly do this all the time on my phone for client contracts, takes two seconds.
Yes, you can do this directly on Android. Open the document in the Microsoft Word app, tap the three dots, choose “Share” or “Export”, then select PDF and save it to your phone. If Word does not offer that option, open it in Google Docs and use “Share & export” > “Save as” > “PDF”.
I’m not sure it works the same on every phone but on my Android tablet I open Word docs in Google Docs then export as PDF and that got my kids’ forms in on time. tbh I learned it the hard way. What phone model are you using?
