Got a PDF with a QR code that needs changing, and the deadline is tomorrow. I’ve tried just editing the text but the code stays the same. Is there a way to swap it out without redoing the whole document?
Honestly, the QR code is treated as an image, so text tools wont touch it. You can just open the file in an editor like Sejda or Acrobat, delete that image, and paste the new code right on top. Takes two minutes.
Yes, but editing the visible text will not change the QR image itself. I would generate a new QR code from the updated URL or data, then replace the existing image in a PDF editor, or cover it with a white rectangle and place the new code on top. Test-scan the exported PDF before sending it.
