I’m trying to read a few PDF files on my phone, and the text is so tiny I have to zoom and scroll sideways constantly. I’ve got a 60-page report from my manager due tomorrow morning, and I mostly need to read and jot notes on it during my commute. Is there a better way to get through these on an Android phone without it being a nightmare?

Honestly, try Adobe Acrobat and turn on Liquid Mode. It reflows all the text so you dont have to scroll sideways at all, and you can still highlight and add notes. Total lifesaver for reading long docs on the go.

That is annoying on a phone. On Android, try Adobe Acrobat’s “Liquid Mode” or another reader’s “reflow” view, which reshapes the text to fit the screen; landscape mode and larger font also help. If the report is a scanned PDF, reflow may not work, so run OCR first, then use highlights or a notes app while reading.
