I need to password-protect a PDF on my tablet before emailing it, but I’m not sure what options are available without using a computer. How does that work?

Honestly, the easiest way on a tablet is just grabbing the free Adobe Acrobat app. Open the pdf, tap the three dots menu, and select set password before emailing it. I do it for contracts all the time.

I use Adobe Acrobat on my tablet for receipts and forms. Open the PDF, find Protect or similar and add the password, tbh learned the hard way. What device are you on?
