A scanned contract I was sent has really faint text, but I’m on a locked work laptop and cannot install any apps. Is there an in-browser way to darken the PDF text?

Honestly, the easiest thing to check first is your browser print preview. In Chrome or Edge, you can sometimes adjust contrast before saving as a new PDF. If that fails, an online tool like Sejda can darken faint scans without installing anything.
