I have about eight separate PDF files from different scans, and the school portal only lets me upload a single document. Is there a way to join them all into one file in the right order without messing up the quality?

Honestly, the simplest way if you’re on a Mac is using Preview to just drag the thumbnails together in order. Otherwise, I usually use ilovepdf for client contracts, works great and keeps the qualty intact.

That is annoying, but merging PDFs normally does not reduce their quality. Put the files in order, then use PDFsam Basic on Windows or the built-in Preview app on Mac to combine them; drag the pages into the correct order and save as a new PDF. I would avoid “Print to PDF”, since it can flatten or reduce scans.
