# Does anyone know how to split a pdf into two?

I have a PDF from a scan that I need to break into two separate files for uploading, but I can’t figure out how to do it on my work laptop without installing anything.

Honestly the easiest way is to just open it in a browser like Chrome. Hit Print, change the destination to Save as PDF, and type in the page range for each part. I do this with vendor contracts all the time.
